You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the paid parts of Battery Truth.

You are responsible for making sure that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and lawful.

Battery Truth provides an independent EV battery health interpretation service that turns battery data and vehicle context into plain-language guidance.

The service is intended to help users understand battery condition, confidence, usable capacity, and practical range fit, but it is not a certified inspection, warranty, legal valuation, or guarantee of future performance.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not create accounts using false information, share accounts to evade limits, or use the service in a way that breaks applicable law or these Terms.

Buyer access is a view-only subscription intended for browsing and interpretation. Buyer access does not include PDF download rights or printable export rights.

Buyer plans are time-based, and access begins only after payment has been successfully confirmed. Buyer usage is subject to soft caps and anti-abuse controls, including the limits published in the product specification and any reasonable updates we make to protect the service.

Seller access may be provided through one-time credit packs, monthly subscriptions, or both. One credit equals one successful report generation entitlement. Credits are consumed only when a report is successfully generated, and failed attempts do not consume a credit unless we state otherwise in a specific technical exception.

Included subscription credits expire at the end of the current billing cycle. Add-on credits expire according to the published product rules, and we consume credits using the earliest-expiry-first rule.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we detect scraping, automated bulk usage beyond the plan, fraud, credential sharing, unusual peaks, or other misuse.

Corporate usage is governed by fair-use controls, and true unlimited or automated usage is only available through a separate API plan if we offer one.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change prospectively.

Subscriptions renew until canceled.

If payment fails, we may place the account in a grace, paused, or suspended state until payment is resolved.

Our launch refund policy is strict.

Buyer passes are refundable only if they have not been used and if the request is made within the applicable 14-day period allowed by law for the relevant digital purchase.

Seller packs are refundable only if unused and only to the extent required or allowed by law.

If you cancel a subscription, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Battery Truth owns the platform, branding, report templates, user interface, and all related intellectual property, except for the raw data you submit.

You may use reports you purchase or generate for your own lawful purposes, including sharing a seller report to support a legitimate sale, but you may not present Battery Truth as an official, certified, or governmental inspection authority.

The service is provided on an indicative basis only.

Results depend on the inputs and assumptions used, and real-world range and battery condition can vary because of weather, driving style, vehicle load, route, tire pressure, battery age, and other factors.

We do not guarantee that the service will identify every defect, predict every outcome, or replace independent professional advice.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim will be limited to the fees you paid to Battery Truth in the twelve months before the claim, or the amount paid for the relevant purchase if lower.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights and liability for fraud or personal injury where applicable.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you do not pay, violate these Terms, abuse the service, or create a risk to the platform or other users.

You may stop using the service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of the page and provide notice where appropriate.

Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law requires a different venue.
