Where it started
We found plenty of information. What we needed was guidance.
During our own search for a used EV, we experienced firsthand that there is plenty of information out there, but very little real guidance.
Listings showed us age, mileage, price, specifications, and headline range. We read owner experiences, compared manufacturer claims, looked at battery reports, and visited dealerships. Yet the questions that mattered most were still difficult to answer.
What are we actually buying?What do we really need?And will this particular car fit our needs?
Even visits to dealerships did not always make things clearer. Battery information was often technical, incomplete, or reduced to a single percentage. Too often, we were left with more questions than answers.
That is why we created Battery Truth.
Battery health has become too important to be left to a raw number alone. A State of Health, or SoH, figure can be useful, but only when it is understood in the context of the specific vehicle and the way it may be used.
